Diane is CBC radio's national parenting columnist, writing and recording about topics as diverse as parental cyberchondria, to boredom, to sex-ed -- all with a mix of self-deprecation, fierce curiosity, and maternal exhaustion.

She is also a regular contributor to CBC's Definitely Not the Opera, travelling to the Winnipeg CBC TV comedy Festival with them for their first live show in 2011.

Although Diane could record radio in her pajamas, out of respect for the late Mr. Dressup, she always wears pants at the CBC studios.

It was a successful 12-part radio series on CBC Morningside before it was adapted for TV and was recorded at the CBC in front of a live audience.THE BROAD SIDE goes to a different era in history in every episode. Four actors, Diane Flacks, Kathryn Greenwood, Erin McMurtry and Susan Coyne (with special guest Wendel Meldrum) play different characters in each episode to hilarious, historical and hysterical results.
